The Regularisation of Migrants (RegMig) dataset

The RegMig dataset is a tool to characterize programs that regularised undocumented immigrants and it is expected to allow researchers to evaluate its impact on a broad range of topics. RegMig aims to collect all possible information from programs that regularised undocumented immigrants in OECD countries for the last 80 years.

External relations and projects

The IAI maintains contacts with research institutes and universities in Latin America, the USA and Europe as well as with German and international development organizations. The institute strives to promote scientific exchange through joint research projects and consulting activities as well as through workshops and symposia. In principle, the IAI is open to guest researchers. Well-known researchers from Latin America, the USA and other countries have made use of this opportunity so far. IAI researchers take part in research projects and perform tasks as consultants and experts in the field of development and trade policy.
