Our Divisions
The Department of Animal Science at the University of Göttingen is dedicated to scientific research and practice-oriented teaching in animal husbandry and animal science. Our aim is to develop innovative and sustainable solutions to the challenges of modern animal husbandry and thus make an important contribution to global food security. Through our various departments, we offer a wide range of scientific disciplines that combine research and teaching on the health, welfare and nutrition of farm animals.
