The compact online format Wissensnugget offers practical insights into digital teaching and learning tools as well as innovative concepts for higher education – in just 45 minutes.
The next Wissensnugget will take place on Thursday, 22 October 2026, from 2:30 to 3:15 p.m. The topic is “Immersive XR Applications in Teaching”. The speaker is Dr René Kockord (TU Braunschweig).

Online Teaching Dialogue (OLD)
The Online Teaching Dialogue (OLD) regularly provides practical ideas and concrete tips on teaching and learning in online settings. The next session on 13 October 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. will focus on “Hands-on RAG: Customising an AI chatbot with your own materials”.

New training opportunities
In October, several exciting events on digital teaching, AI and innovative teaching formats will once again take place.
On 13 October 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the Online Teaching Dialogue (OLD) “Hands-on RAG – Customising an AI Chatbot with Your Own Materials” invites participants to explore the practical possibilities of RAG systems. The session focuses on how an AI chatbot can be enriched with your own materials and used specifically for teaching purposes. Further information is available here.
The event “Independent Learning with Courseware and VIPS” explores how digital tools can support self-directed learning. It will take place on 13 October 2026 from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. and again on 22 October 2026 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m..
