Research

My current research focuses on rurbanity mapping, participating in the sub-project C01 “RurbanGeography: Towards a global geography of rurbanity - developing a set of indicators to map and monitor rurban spaces”, under the project “Sustainable Rurbanity - Resources, Society, and Regulatory Systems”. We will use data from statistics, Earth observation, and surveys to characterize the rurbanity, and produce maps for spatial visualization and monitoring.

Work experience

From July 2021 to Oct 2025, I worked as a Research Analyst at the International Food Policy Research Institute, China office. My work mainly focused on crop distribution mapping within “Spatial Production Allocation Model 2020” project.
