Major Research Interests
Our department focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms that enable plants to cope with environmental stresses, particularly heat and drought. With expertise in plant genomics, molecular biology, and stress physiology, we study how plants regulate growth under stressful conditions and how stress memory shapes their responses. We also investigate the role of beneficial microbes for enhancing plant resilience. By integrating plant and microbial responses, our research aims to contribute to the development of more stress-tolerant crops and to advance knowledge in plant stress biology.
